Can you believe it is December already? This is my absolute favorite time of the year. Not only is everyone in a festive and giving mood, delicious food seems to be the center of everything. I am a firm believer that where there is food, there is love. A few years back I featured my 31 Days of Love project on my blog. During that time I featured a local business each day of the month with a giveaway. I had such a great time and made so many people happy that I decided to do it again. I am excited to share some of my favorite local places with you.
I am kicking off #31DaysofLove with one of my favorite spots to grab a decadent latte and doughnuts that take my taste buds to another level. Every time that I stop in, I am sure to find something new and über delicious. Ladies and gentlemen, my first feature for #31DaysofLove is none other than the South Tampa gem, DOUGH.
Oh Dough, you sure know how to impress a girl. With tempting holiday selections such as Chocolate Candy Cane Doughnuts (with cream filling), Christmas Tree, Peppermint and Gingerbread Cupcakes, decadent house-made cheesecakes such as Eggnog, Pumpkin and Peppermint, freshly baked holiday cookies and more, Dough is your one stop shop for the food lovers (or just yourself) on your holiday shopping list. You will not be able to enter Dough without leaving with something sweet.
While browsing through all of their holiday offerings, I found gifts for my children’s teachers, a few of my foodie friends and even some holiday treats for myself. Of course, I could not help but to indulge in a coffee and holiday sugar cookie.
One of the things I love most about Dough is that they make everything in house, with the exception of some retail candy items and their stunning collection of chocolates and macarons from William Dean. One of my favorite items from Dough, aside from their spectacular doughnuts, is their cheesecake selection. They never cease to amaze me with crowd favorites such as Fruity Pebble, Butterfinger, Cookie Dough, Coffee Break, Oreo and more. For the holiday season they are featuring seasonal flavors that already have me drooling. My Christmas Eve dinner is sure to include a Peppermint Cheesecake from Dough.
