I can’t believe another year is coming to a close, as it seems it was just yesterday that I was making a list of New Year’s Resolutions that I was sure to break. As the saying goes, time flies and it seems to fly at a very high speed during the holidays. While the most wonderful time of the year is just weeks away, I know many of you are gearing up to hit the stores for Black Friday. I must confess, I have never been a Black Friday or a Cyber Monday shopper. I prefer to do everything on Christmas Eve. Crazy, yes! Well this year I am turning things around and am excited to share that Westfield Shopping Centers are focusing on the Big Shopping Week which takes place from November 20th-27th! During this week you can beat the crowds and get a head start on all of your holiday gift purchasing.
Did you know that Westfield has a really handy Holiday Gift Guide that will help you find a gift for everyone on your list? As I was browsing through it, I was impressed that it has everything organized into categories such as beauty and grooming, technology, retro toys and games, jewelry, winter apparel and accessories, and my personal favorite, entertaining. Since most of my family and friends are avid cooks and party organizers, I found tons of things to add to my list and will be visiting Westfield Brandon a few times this week since it is on my way home from work.
If you live in Tampa Bay, you can enjoy getting a head start at Westfield Brandon, Westfield Citrus Park and Westfield Countryside. I am sure most of you, like me, are attached to their smart phones and I am excited to share that Westfield has an app that you can download to make your shopping experience even easier. Simply click here to download and it will find the location closest to you based on your geographical area. Not only will you get a list of all the stores in alphabetical order, you will also get a breakdown of shopping categories.
I, for one, plan on buying some new kitchen equipment such as a food processor and a deep fryer as both of mine decided to quit on my just before the holidays. For as long as I can remember, holiday cooking and baking is very therapeutic for me and I am able to give the gift of food to so many that touch my lives. Coffee cups and accessories are also on my list since I require more caffeine during the busy holiday season. I just love this one from Express.
I also have my eye on a panini press and found a great one today at Sears from Hamilton Beach.
I am really excited to partner with Westfield for a $100 Shopping Spree for a lucky reader. You can enter below and I would love to hear about any of your holiday shopping tips. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @tracyguida as I share some of my shopping experiences. Winner will be selected on Black Friday at 12 pm and the gift card can be used at any Westfield Shopping Center. Good luck!
