Last week I had the honor of attending a special media dinner at Tampa’s newest hot spot, Eddie V’s. I have a full post coming this week but I wanted to share their insanely delicious Truffled Macaroni and Cheese with you.
This brand new addition to Tampa is located at 4400 W Boy Scout Blvd in the heart of the Westshore restaurant district. With a menu that celebrates life on America’s Gulf Coast, everything on their menu is fresh and of the finest quality. I am excited to share my dining experience with you, but in honor of #MacNChzMonday, I am proud to present their Truffled Macaroni and Cheese.
As I sat with my fellow diners, we were all browsing the menu so that we could make a dinner selection. My eyes wandered to their selection of sides and I squealed with delight when I saw they had Truffled Macaroni and Cheese. They had me at truffle and I just had to taste this decadent side dish. As soon as it was brought out, the intoxicating scent of truffles made me weak in the knees. I have become quite obsessed with truffles lately and just can’t seem to get enough.
Rich and creamy, their Truffled Macaroni and Cheese was so incredible, it made me want more. Since I was sharing with others at the table, I had to restrain myself. Everyone agreed that is was spectacular. I mean, what could be better than a piping hot dish of macaroni tossed in a savory, Parmesan cheese sauce and topped with shaved truffles? Nothing!
My meal at Eddie V’s was epic and I can’t wait to share my delicious findings with all of you this week. Get ready because my post will send you right over for dinner!
