I can’t believe there are only eight days until Christmas. Have I done any shopping? Nope. Work has been kicking my booty and I apologize that today’s post for #31DaysOfLove is about 10 hours late. As they say, better late than never and good things come to those who wait. Without further adieu, I would like to introduce today’s feature, South Tampa Farm.
Located on 2nd St. off of Interbay in the Ballast Point Neighborhood, South Tampa Farm is just one of the many things that I love about my neighborhood. This hidden spot is known for their honey and eggs as well as milk, lard and new items like pork belly soap, As soon as you pull in, you are greeted with their famous honey selection and a payment drop box. That’s right, they work on the honor system and all you have to do it place your money in the slot. How cool is that?
My kids and I enjoy visiting the farm and they love when they get to see horses and pigs. We live so close that we can walk, and when the weather is nice, it makes for a nice afternoon outing to take a walk and visit this gem of Ballast Point.
Today when I stopped by, I was delighted to see their pork belly soap. What a wonderful gift idea!
If you live in Tampa, you must make a point to visit the farm. I want to give a reader a wonderful gift of some South Tampa Farm honey and a bar of pork belly soap. To enter, simply leave a blog post and tell me what you would do with the honey if you won. I will pick a random winner on Monday, December 19th and 10 pm. Good Luck![?]
