I can’t believe I have never written about Mini Doughnut Factory. It must be because every single time I go there, I am so excited to enjoy my doughnuts that I almost forget to take photos. I actually have a few on my phone from my last visit, so I will share them with you, but I must warn you in advance, they will make you want to hop in your car and drive over there immediately.
Located in the heart of South Tampa close to Plant High on South Dale Mabry, Mini Doughnut Factory has been drawing in record crowds since opening a little over a year ago in November of 2015. I will never forget my first visit, as it was truly magical. Upon opening the door, I was drawn to the fresh scent of warm doughnuts and the sound of pure joy from all of the guests. My kids and I stepped up to the counter and were just blown away by their menu. With selections such as Camp Fire (vanilla cake doughnut with chocolate icing, graham cracker crumble and marshmallow drizzle), Fruity Pebbles (vanilla cake with lemon icing and fruity pebbles), Peanut Butter Cup (chocolate cake doughnut with chocolate icing and reese’s drizzle), Sweet Pig (vanilla cake doughnut with maple icing and bacon) and many more, you are sure to find something to tantalize your taste buds. You can also create your own mini masterpiece with tons of toppings to choose from. Whether you like vanilla cake or chocolate, you are going to be in doughnut heaven. They are always offering seasonal specials such as chocolate peppermint for the holiday season. I have not yet tried it, but will be making it by this weekend.
