Cool Off with Cascade Water #Giveaway

Cocktails, Drink, Healthy & Delicious, IFBC Seattle

Living in Florida, I am used to the heat and drink tons of water. Although I must admit, plain water can get boring and I often add fresh fruit to my water to give it more flavor. As a former Diet Coke junkie, I have replaced my addiction with fruit infused waters and iced tea. About six months ago I was shopping at the Commissary at MacDill Air Force Base and spotted a bottle of Cascade Ice Strawberry Lemonade. Intrigued, I purchased a bottle and tried it later that afternoon. Sweet and refreshing, the taste was invigorating and reminded me of my favorite childhood drink without all the sugar or guilt. Excited to have discovered a fantastic new beverage, I returned the following weekend and purchased all of the flavors they had available. I had found a new calorie-free beverage and knew we would live happily ever after.

Sodium free, caffeine free and gluten-free, Cascade Ice is available in three varieties:

1. Zero Calorie Sparkling Water

2. Zero Calorie Organic Sparkling Water

3. Sparkling Cocktail Mixers

In Tampa, I have been able to find the zero calorie sparkling waters and have tried flavors such as Orange Mango, Lemonade, Strawberry Lemonade, Blueberry Watermelon and Coconut. While all are fantastic, my absolute favorite is Coconut and I must drink a minimum of 8 bottles a week. With a sweet and crisp flavor, each sip takes me away to a tropical island and I immediately feel relaxed.

In late September, I attended IFBC in beautiful Seattle, Washington. As one of the top food blogger conferences in the country, IFBC 2013 exceeded my expectations and I met so many talented writers and recipe developers. I had the opportunity to meet many food vendors and one of them was Cascade Ice. While perusing through the gift suite and chatting with fellow bloggers, I spotted something out of the corner of my eye that I just had to try…….Cascade Ice Pumpkin Pie! Ecstatic, I walked over and tried a sample. Beyond tasty, it is like drinking fall in a bottle. With this flavor, the possibilities are endless. It can be used to make guilt free fall-inspired cocktails such as skinny pumpkin martinis. I took a few bottles home and mixed them with vanilla vodka for low-carb pumpkin cocktails. If you love pumpkin, you must try this fantastic flavor.

In addition to their sensational array of flavors, Cascade Ice also offers a line of cocktail mixers such as Cosmopolitan and Margarita. They sent me a few samples and I invited some friends over for a night of skinny cocktails and introduced them to my new favorite line of sparkling waters. My friends were impressed and have since become Cascade Ice consumers.

As someone who loves Margaritas but does not love all of the calories, I was beyond impressed with their Sparkling Margarita Cocktail Mixer. With only 10 calories per serving and great flavor, you can enjoy a great tasting Margarita without all the sugar. I simply added some Patròn Silver and fresh lime with the mixer and poured over ice. Refreshing and tasty, I sipped on this low-carb sensation with homemade blackened shrimp tacos. Low-carb has never tasted better.

I am so in love with Cascade Ice that I want a lucky reader to experience these incredible beverages that are free of sugar, caffeine, sodium, gluten and carbs. A tasty miracle in a bottle, you will surely experience love at first sip. I will pick a winner on November 23rd. Good luck!
