I have lived in Tampa for almost ten years and have never been to Longhorn Steakhouse until last week. A few weeks ago I was sitting at a bar with friends making my list of places to visit for mac & cheese and one of my friends suggested I try Longhorn. It just so happened that I was invited to a menu tasting for their “Flavorful Under 500” the following week and I knew it would be the perfect opportunity to try their mac & cheese.
Steakhouse Mac & Cheese
Made with corkscrew pasta, four cheeses and bacon, Longhorn’s Steakhouse Mac & Cheese is a decadent dish of cheesy, gooey goodness. I was pleasantly surprised at just how delicious it was and can even go as far to say that it rivals the mac & cheese at a few of my favorite spots. I love the fact that it is made with four cheeses and the corkscrew pasta is a nice twist. I really wanted to devour the entire dish but I decided to be polite and share with my fellow diners. Everyone agreed that is was pretty darn tasty.
I will have more on Longhorn later this week. Until then, stay cheesy my friends.[?]
