Today is my favorite day of the week! Better known as “Wingsday”, I have a great place to share with you and I am still drooling over their wings. Today I had lunch at Boston’s in Carrollwood and their wings left such a tasty impression that I am almost too excited to type. Located at 9316 Anderson Road, Boston’s is a family friendly restaurant and sports bar featuring gourmet pizzas, hearty entrées, delicious sandwiches and more. Aside from tasting their hot wings back in the summer, this was my first time trying their fantastic wing sauces. With a few new additions to their wing menu, Boston’s quickly placed themselves in my top ten favorite wing spots. Yes, they are that dang good!
I had the opportunity to sample 6 different wings sauces and two types of wings. After hearing about their awesome wings from my friends Rebecca, Tom and Eric, I knew I was in for a treat.
I started off with a trio of sauces on their famous Oven Roasted Wings. I am a huge fan of oven roasted wings and these were beyond fantastic. The sauces I tried were Asian Glaze, Spicy Garlic and Hot. Their Asian Glaze is one of their signature sauces and their Asian-Glazed Salmon is one of my favorite items on their menu. The perfect combination of sweet and spicy, this sauce makes these wings extra special. There is no need for blue cheese or ranch, as this sauce is remarkable on its own.

I also tried their oven roasted wings in Spicy Garlic and Hot. My favorite was the Spicy Garlic. Growing up just twenty miles from the garlic capital of the world, Gilroy, CA, I am a garlic girl. Perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of spice, this flavor truly stands out and I could have eaten a whole order of these. All that was missing was an ice-cold beer.
The oven roasted Hot wings were just as fabulous and I enjoyed dipping these into some blue cheese. I still can’t get over how incredible the oven roasted wings were and the fact that they truly tasted like they were homemade. I swear, good wings are like a great pair of heels, I just have to have them in my life.
Oven Roasted Spicy Garlic
Next I tried a trio of their new Crispy Fried Wings in Garlic Parmesan, Dry-Rub Ranch and Ragin’ Cajun. What an incredible trio of flavors. As you can guess, my favorite was the Garlic Parmesan, but I also loved the Dry-Rub Ranch which is a flavor you don’t come across to often. Imagine a wing dipped in ranch without the mess… genius!

The Ragin’ Cajun was another winner and has just the right amount of kick without being to spicy. These would be perfect for a Mardi Gras event.

Boston’s has truly scored with me in the wing department and I am looking forward to catching the rest of the NFL season there with my friends. All wings are available in orders of 9 or 18, your choice of sauce, blue cheese or ranch and celery and carrot sticks. They also offer boneless wings which are just as amazing. Be sure to inquire if you need to place a large order for an event and they can accommodate your needs. With a full bar and plenty of TV’s, you can’t find a better place in Carrollwood to catch the big game. They have a loyal following and their bar is always packed. With a fantastic cocktail menu and drink specials, you really have to try this place!
